A Hunt that will go down in LGH History along with the time that Gordon Hoffman
dropped his "uppers" off the side of his pontoon boat while docking .
The Crowd Gathered as word of the intruder spread...
The Park Manager, the Leesburg Police Department and members of
the Park Militia, confer to protect the safety and well being of the Park Residents
The Park Manager modestly advises that he has handled incursions of this sort in the past, would take
care of the situation himself, but had his dress shirt on, and would prefer to act in a support mode.
The Perpetrator
"Jeekers!!!... Can't a guy just go out for a walk?"
As the crowd distances from the action, and darkness falls, reinforcements arrive with weapons
As the culprit is being apprehended, the crime photographer...leaps back...
Resulting in this picture... surely a prize winning photo.
Apprehended!!!!....
Note the assisting Park Manager (white shirt still intact) and the counterterrorist specialist,
taking the suspect into custody, and putting on restraints...
Hands behind the back and legs shackled,
The intruder is led off...
as the crowd disperses, and the inhabitants of the community return to their homes...secure
in the knowledge that their lives will continue as before... and thankful to those who serve and protect.
